“水滴”体育场外的便道上早早就以红色为背景，商贩们吆喝叫卖着助威服、围巾、贴纸、小旗帜……他们同样关注着来自球场内的信息，热心地告知着过往球迷，“王大雷首发了！”互不相识的球迷在路上也会彼此交流几句：“今天几比几？”“3比0或者4比1吧！”
比赛中，球迷的热情呐喊更是为国足增添了额外的比赛动力。赛前介绍双方首发阵容，念到国足球员的名字时，现场球迷都会报以欢呼。
球迷们在看台上打出了有“精忠报国”字样的TIFO（可覆盖看台的大型横幅或拼图）勉励球队。比赛中，球迷方阵整齐划一的鼓掌加油助威方式，成为现场特别的风景线。
